Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST for long treks I use this pack every time I go out in the woods. Perfect for walking all day or hunting any game. My binoculars stay right against my chest and are easy to get to when I need them. Superb quality in both the straps, the pouch itself. The side mesh pockets are great for small items but too small for my iPhone 6s. I thought there would be more room to accommodate my rangefinder in addition to binoculars but they do not both fit. The guide binopack would be better if you want to store anything else other than binoculars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bino Harness I have used this product hunting deer, and turkey as well as scouting for waterfowl. I have been more than happy with it. the only complaint that I have (and it is a minor one) is that the lid closes and you can not leave it open for quick access to optics. I realize that it was designed this way to help protect the binos inside. I also work as a biologist and have used this in the spring while surveying for breeding birds and searching for turtles. It always protects my gear and it even has a storage spot for extra batteries for my GPS or a spare pencil. I could not be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for anyone hiking with bino's I bought the GlassPak the same time i bough my Vortex Daimondbacks. I do a lot of walking in the woods and could not be happier with the GlassPak. It keeps my binos tight to my chest and keeps them out of the way when drawing my bow. I would recommend these these to anyone who does a lot of walking while carrying bino's!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't Fit I bought this yesterday from local Cabela's after looking at several. I thought I would stick with Vortex brand as I was sure it would fit my HD 12X50. The site says it does, but I beg to differ. I had to work them into the case and then they stuck almost 1 1/2 to inches above the top. Closing the top left gaps of and inch+. If I were in the field trying to glass and then return them to the case would be difficult at best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Overall Harness Purchased this with my Diamondback 8x42 Bino's and thought it would be a good way to securely protect my bino investment. I haven't taken them out in the field yet, but will intend to keep my bino's in them and intend to use them throughout the summer for 3D archery shoots and then for early season hunting. I don't see any reason to believe these will not perform as I had hoped. For the money this harness is right what I needed and feel it will last me a long time. I will have to echo some of the concerns of the buckles and straps. The buckles do creak and almost rattle a bit, so if using for spot and stalks, that may come into play. I am assuming some modifications will fix that. The straps material is very soft which make them slip a little, but I feel the way they are adjusted now, are secured regardless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice case. Very nice case, plenty of padding. Appears to be well made. Goes great with my Diamond Backs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent. Get the job done. Decent bino harness. The straps are a little long and cumbersome and some kind of retention system would be nice. i taped mine all up to keep them from just flapping around all the time. Room for a decent amount of storage but I could always use a little more. The harness is comfortable to wear and to slip around while traversing rough terrain. I trust it with my optics.

Will the case detach from the harness? In other words, can you use the harness with and without the case?

    Asked by: Karen
The harness will detach from the case, but the buckles on the harness require the case to stay on so you would not be able to use the shoulder straps without the case.
