I have a Glock 36. Will this hand gun mount fit? Also, does mounting the red-dot site create any problems with Kydex holsters? Thanks

Asked by: Mike
This mount will allow you to mount our Razor Red Dot on your Glock. The mount should not interfere with your holster as long as it does not come up to where the red dot would be mounted.

I have a Vortex Venom and am building a Glock 17. Can I buy any glock 17 slide that is advertized as cut for an RMR and attach the Venom, or does it need to be a specificly cut slide? also, which plate do i need?

Asked by: joe schmoe
If your slide is cut for the RMR the Venom will not mount in that cut, you would want to get your slide milled for the red dot you plan on using. If you get a Glock MOS you would use plate #1 for the Venom.

Will this work on Glock 19 Gen 5 if I buy the Vortex Venom? Thanks in advance!

Asked by: Msidea88
This mount will fit our Razor red dot, it will not fit the Venom. I recommend a mount from www.egwguns.com for your Venom and Glock.

Will the dovetail viper mount work with a venom

Asked by: Dch384
The Viper and Venom share the same mounting pattern so they would use the same mount, I recommend a mount from www.egwguns.com.

There is a plate that convert Docter mount to RMR what can one be made to adapt RMR to Docter? Maybe you guys should come up with it. I see a lot of requests in the forums

Asked by: EZJohn357
There is not an adapter that converts the RMR cut to a Docter cut because the screws to attach the plate to the RMR cut and the screws to attach the optic to the adapter would overlap.

hi Team Vortex, what is the best mounting plate to fit my new vortex venom 3 MOA red dot to my Gen 2 glock 17?

Asked by: DevoRSA
You'll need to get a dovetail mount from Evolution Gun Works for the Venom. Should be sku #49313. Egwguns.com 215-538-1012
