Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful addition to my hunting gear! I got my first set of binos in the mid-1970s when I was about 20 or 21. It was a real hassle to have them swinging around my neck and banging into things. So after getting the Vortex Talons in 2014, I got this harness and WOW! What a difference in usability of my Talons. When we were out glassing for wild pig in Central California, I could move as much as I wanted to and the Talons would stay in place, ready to use. Buy this harness, you'll have a better hunt! PS: my rifle in this shot is a Model 98 8mm Mauser; my dad took it from a German soldier in Belgium, January 1945, during the Battle of the Bulge. It's the real deal and a great hunting rifle for deer, pig, elk. Vortex scope, of course.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy Harness Strap I got this harness strap in my Hunt Vault (formerly Hunter's Crate) monthly hunting subscription box. I was thrilled to see them partner with Vortex. Before owning this harness strap I had been wearing my binoculars just around my neck which was very uncomfortable and not the most convenient. Now my binoculars fit snug and I can easily access them whenever I need. This is the only bino harness system I've been using the past six months and I love it! Not only is it an affordable harness system, but it is very comfortable to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit for the Larger Man I seem to find my self always wearing my Bino Harness, in the Deer woods or just hiking. I completely love this product. Before I just used the Strap that came with my Diamondback 10x42 (which are amazing also). It did the job but just seemed to get in the way and dangled away from my body at times. So I highly recommend getting the Vortex Binocular Harness Strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps glass readily accessible Before I kept a compact 10x pair of binoculars in my Camel Pak and they didn't often come out due to the inconvenience... Now I were the same binos not only scouting/hunting but hiking, fishing, sometimes at our favorite dog hangout etc.. So comfortable and easy to keep glass right in the center of my chest!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Harness makes all the difference in using Binoculars This Harness is essentially the same thing as the ones by Crooked Horn.. it wouldnt surprise me if they are made in the same place.. essential to instant access to your Binoculars while hunting or spotting.. Best Accessory ever.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for Bow Hunting I use this strap while big game hunting in the Rocky Mountains. Overall the strap makes access to your binos very convenient. However, while hiking and trying to spot and stalk, they elasticity of the strap causes the binos to bounce around and get in the way while trying to maneuver in the mountains. I would say that the strap is great for scouting, but not so much for actually hunting

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Issue The clips that attach to the binos seems to be to large to fit the diamondback series. Although I was disappointed it was an easy fix to tie 550 cord to use as a loop to attach the harness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Bought this product about a month ago and am glad I did. It hold my razors tight to my chest ready for use. As a bow hunter they keep them out of the way of the string, but right there.

I have Vortex Diamondback 8x42. Will this harness attach directly to the binos? If so, how/with what (rings, clips)? Does the harness come with the necessary hardware to connect, or will I have to purchase another piece of equipment? Lastly, how can rangefinder be attached in addition to binos? Thanks
Asked by: Rich
The harness comes with some connectors that will allow you to attach the harness to your binoculars. There is not an attachment for a rangefinder to the harness.

I bought the binocular harness to use with some Vortex Crossfire 8x32. But the strap attachment in my binocular is narrower than the strap connector provided. The instructions say not to attache the split ring to the binocular. What can I do? Could you orient me how to adapt or fix this? Thanks
Asked by: Luis Iturriaga
You could use zip ties, trim down the strap attachment or call for more help 800-426-0048.
