Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money These are great binoculars for the price. I've had mine for couple years now with one problem. The only thing I can find is that once Vortex Optics get you sucked into their products with a lower yet quality line as in the diamond back series, it opens the door for you to start looking at their more superior lines. Razor and Viper lines are incredible!! Hands down amazing glass! While I've had buddies that can afford these lines I two have now been bitten by the Vortex bug. I will work and save for new spotting scope and upgrade bino's. Diamond Backs are deffenitally great optics to cut your teeth on, Rugged and durable and very nice clear glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problem solver optics For years now I have always had to take my glasses off to look through any optic. I was out hunting with my brother one day when a heard of deer came by and he handed me his pair of binos and asked why I took my glasses off to look through mine. When I pulled them up I was amazed, I could see with my glasses on and very well at that. The next day I went and bought me my own pair. I think they are the best bang for your buck with a killer warranty. I have dropped them numerous times and died a little inside everytime, but there is never anything wrong with them when I pick them back up. I will never buy any other brand again. I am hooked on Vortex Optics

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would definitely by this product again I love vortex products. I love my binos. They were giving to me by a friend. And now I will never go back to another brand. My binos did great for the last 3 years and have held up to walking in the weather and being with me through my hunts. But this year something happened to them and the eye piece broke I was devisated. So I called vortex optics to see if I could do anything they told me about the VIP warranty. Now my amazing binos are on there way back to being just as good as they were. I really have nothing bad to say about the vortex brand or my binos. I am planing on getting a new scope for my new gun here soon. Thanks vortex!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing value I had heard a lot of great things about vortex so i decided to give them a try. We are a hunting family so with so many hunters every item i buy has to be a compromise between cost and quality. I had previously bought another pair of binos from a well known supplier that i wasnt happy with, so i was skeptical about spending even less on the vortex. I could immediately tell the difference in quality! These vortex dont shake like the more expensive pair, they are more clear and dont hurt my eyes no matter how long i look through them. Ive let several friends try them out and they all go buy their own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quaility really makes a differance I bought a Vortex Viper HS 4-16X50 last year and love it, its the perfect match for my Remington 700XCR in 300WM. I bought the Diamondback 10X50 while on a hunt in north western Alberta for elk. I had a pair of 10 X 50 Bushnell binoculars that I had for quite a few years and needed to upgrade. After trying quite a few different pairs outside at one of the big outdoor stores there was no decision to make. The Diamondbacks were the best by far in their price range and comparable to binoculars almost twice the cost. Keep up the good work. Next purchase will be a Vortex spotting scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best set of binoculars I've ever bought I bought these for my wife for Christmas last year. We've taken them on all of our adventures ever since. The optics are so clear and easy to focus. I also bought the bino caddy with them and it makes a world of difference when carrying them. They don't bounce around as your walking and by having the weight of the binoculars over your shoulders you barely notice them at all. The best part is the warranty. Only a company that truly believes in the quality of its products would offer a life time warranty like vortex does. Great product and a great company!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great field of view and clarity I borrowed these 10x50's on a Caribou hunt in AK and was impressed with the clarity and field of view. I assumed they were a much more expensive bino and didn't find out they were under 0 until the trip was over. In comparison to the 10x42's these are heavier and larger simply due to nessecity of design. I feel like a quality bino harness and using a tripod for classing would have mitigated the effect of size and weight making it a non-issue. Why spend over 0 or over a grand on binoculars you're taking out into the field? These are well designed and sturdy. If they don't function or are damaged, they're covered under the warranty. It's a no brainer for a middle class hunter freeing you up to put more capital into other hunting gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Binos for the Money These are great binos. Love the 50mm lenses and the 10x magnification. Some binos feel like I'm looking through toilet paper tubes but these give me a great FOV without any tunneling. The light gathering is excellent as well and I find myself staying out a few min longer than some of my buddies with more expensive glass from another company. Many times I find them trying to borrow these. I've taken these through rain, snow, dust storms, and even some nice sunny days in between, and have always been pleased with the performance.

I am looking at your Vortex Diamondback 10x50, looks like they have been redesigned for 2016, how do I know I am getting you 2016 model and where are they made?
Asked by: jackoduc
The new model has a completely different look - http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/vortex-diamondback-binocular-10x50 - which is pretty tough to confuse with that of the old. I'd just make sure that whatever you are buying looks like the new model if that's what you are after. These binoculars are physically manufactured in China after being completely designed, engineered and tested right here in Middleton, WI.
