Diamondback® 3.5-10x50 Riflescope

The Diamondback® — loaded with features! First, the solid one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum alloy construction makes the Diamondback® riflescope virtually indestructible and highly resistant to magnum recoil. Argon purging puts waterproof and fogproof performance on the agenda, and advanced fully multi-coated optics raise an eyebrow when crystal clear, tack-sharp images appear in the crosshairs. Look for all this and more in a riflescope you'd expect to cost quite a bit more-but doesn't. We can live with that.

  • 3.5-10x50 riflescope is ideal for big game, predator/varmint, muzzleloader, slug shotgun, and long range applications.
  • V-Plex reticle is the single best all-purpose hunting reticle intended for a wide variety of hunting applications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blown Away! I bought this scope to compliment my Mossberg Patriot 30-06. I've always heard about the quality of Vortex products, but never experienced them personally. I'm completely blown away by the craftsmanship and clarity this scope provides, at such a reasonable price. Even side by side, this thing blows away mich higher priced scopes from Nikon, Leupold etc. It's hard to imagine how I ever went without this thing! I've only had the opportunity to take this scope to the range, but I'm looking forward to Elk season to put this thing to the ultimate test. Thanks for the phenomenal product Vortex. I'm new to your products, but already can't see myself going with anything less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Scope I've Ever Bought! I bought this scope in Summer 2015. I read a lot of reviews and even took training about Vortex from the retailer I am employed at. I couldn't believe how everything I learned was actually 100% true about Vortex. This scope was unbelievable! The clarity was spectacular and once the scope was zeroed in it never got off center despite my numerous attempts to purposely do so; meaning that this scope can take a beating and still be completely on target! Also the light absorption allowed me to stay in my treestand another 10-15mins longer than my dad and brother who had scoped by other competitors. I'm completely sold on Vortex and their Optics and I plan to be a lifetime customer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On a budget and want a top of the line hunting scope I purchased this scope to see if vortex optics were as good as I have been hearing before I spend the money for a Viper HS LR for my Remington 700 308 varmint rifle for long range bench shooting. Bought it on sale at P A and to tell you the truth for the price I did not expect much at all. You know as well as I you get what you pay for but in this case I am amazed at the clarity and quality of the scope if it had the XLR reticle I would leave it on the rifle but boy I am really looking forward to purchasing the Viper HS LR with the XLR reticle moor than ever. Verry impresed with this diamond back scope and will put it on my 7mm Mauser for hunting. Jeff Fitzpatrick

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest scopes best prices I bought my Diamondback a little over a month ago after doing research on a new scope for my Remington 783 .308. All I have to say is this product is the best purchase I have made. So far I have shot a few coyotes and numerous hogs with this combo and it does not disappoint. Once it is zeroed in the scope stays there and is much easier to use compared to other companies. I cannot wait until deer season comes up and get my deer and know it was the scope that allowed me to have a great shot because of the clarity and bdc that the scope has. I will stay with vortex for life

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Diamondback 3.5-10x50 I have two of these, one on a 7mm-08 Remington mountain rifle and one on a Kimber Montana in .300wsm. They hold zero, track well and have survived multiple falls and bumps on sheep and caribou hunts with no issues. Clarity is good for this price range and the BDC hashmarks work as advertised. In fact the 7mm-08 is so close to the drops with the loads I use it might as well be build just for it. T high power I experience a little clarity loss around the edges of my field of view, but the center is always clear. I would recommend these scopes as great value for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic Scope for the Money Great lightweight scope with an excellent reticle and fantastic glass for the money. This scope sat on my 30-06 for a few years until I was in a position to upgrade a few product lines (obviously still staying with Vortex though!). A friend then bought it off me after using it on a hunt as he wanted to replace his more expensive scope from another manufacturer with it! I hunted a wide variety of climates and locations with this scope and it never let me down. Only complaint was that the eye relief was a little tight for my preferences however you still won't find a better scope at this price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's better than a Shamwow I bought this scope to put on my Savage 308 Hoghunter build. I don't know how this company builds such a fantastic product for this price. Clear, crisp views from the reticle, the adjustments are solid. Get the BDC reticle, it is worth it. I love being able to use the LRBC too. Was ringing steel targets at 800 yards easily with this scope. In nerd speak this scope adds at +19 to accuracy, +27 to value and +9 to charasima.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vortex never disappoints After much debate i decided to go with the Diamondback 3.5-10 riflescope for my new .223 that i will mostly use for coyote, varmint hunting. I am very impressed with this scope. Far brighter and clearer that the Nikon and other scopes in the price range. With the LRBC to follow it, you put your exact bullet information in and it gives you your market on your BDC reticle. Last but not least, the vortex warranty is outstanding.

how do i reset turrets after sightin on 3.5x10x50

Asked by: confused1
You will have to use a flat head screwdriver to remove the screw on top of the turret, pop the turret off, an then re index the "0" on that turret. If you have further questions please call us at 800-426-0048 Ext. 6!

I have a 1967 Sako Finnbear 30-06. What rings should I use for this scope?

Asked by: Bill
Thanks for the question! For our rings to work you will need either a 1-piece Picatinny rail or Weaver bases. With one of those attached to your receiver, I would then go with a set of our 1" Pro Rings-Medium (PR1-M) to complete your setup.

What rings would be best for a savage model 110 bolt action with the diamondback 3.5-10x50

Asked by: Greg
Thanks for the question! If your Savage doesn't already have one, I would recommend going with a 1-piece Picatinny rail from www.egwguns.com and I would pair that with a set of our 1" Pro Rings-Medium to complete your setup.

Thinking of purchasing this scope with the BDC option for my Ruger Precision gen 2 6.5 creedmoor. After watching the “how to” on using the BDC, what class would my rifle fall under when zero’ing it in to use the BDC? I usually do 100yrd zeros

Asked by: Hagwood
Thanks for the question! I would recommend running your ammo through a ballistic calculator rather than going off the classifications in the manual. This will be much more accurate in determining your adjustments. Here is a link to our LRBC: http://www.vortexoptics.com/content/lrbc Here is a great video on showing how to relate the information from the LRBC to your reticle: https://youtu.be/97m6lp5ZcKc

What do you think about a Vortex Diamondback 3.5-10x50mm Riflescope with V-Plex Reticle for a 300 win mag

Asked by: indianoutlaw
That would work well although some like the BDC reticle for holdovers for your longer shots. That optic will certainly hold up, just make sure you use quality rings and follow our torque specs of 15-18 inch/lbs with no loctite.
