Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Scope Rings Note: A friendly heads up on the measurement. Vortex medium is like a set of high rings... their high rings is like a set of extra-high rings. I purchased the medium rings and mounted a 44mm adjustable objective Vortex scope on them with 2mm of room left, 4mm without an adjustable objective. These Hunter scope rings are amazing... I don't know how they manufacture them for the retail price of less than dollars. They don't need lapping, at least mine didn't. They are well made and extremely well balanced. They are relatively light weight and easy to mount. They seem to be durable and the fitment was fantastic. Unless I am placing rings on a 50 BMG these will definitely be my to go rings from now on. I found the pluming of the scopes vertical reticle easy to plum... due to the evenly spaced and balanced thumb screws and the single adjustment ring screws. I almost want to remove all my other scope rings and replace them with these Hunter rings... that is how impress I was with them. And when it comes to my reloading, shooting, scope mounting, and target setups I have an incredible OCD habit... so, yes these are a keeper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a light weight setup! I bought these knowing Vortex has great products. I needed some light weight rings for a hunting rifle and these fit the bill perfectly. Light weight, durable, and they are low profile so i can see the turrets while behind the rifle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too fragile Put these on my Ruger predator 260 along with a vortex diamondback hp. My zero changed several times and I traced it back to the rings coming loose. Tried loctite but no help. Torqued down one last time before I was giving up and the bolt snapped that attaches it to the rail. Tried the other bolt just for the heck of it and sure enough it snapped while torquing to 30 inch pounds. Only thing I can think of is the cheap bolt was stretching and finally gave up. I suppose I should have expected this from cheap rings. Not bashing vortex. I love my two razor gen 2 scopes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Scope Needs Good Rings Setup my son's new Savage 93 .22WMR with these rings, lapped and aligned them, then mounted a Vortex Diamondback Rimfire 2-7x35 and boresighted it... At the range it was 2 clicks up and 3 clicks right, bullseye! I will buy another set, and will recommend them to others.

What rings should I get for a Vortex Diamondback 3.5X10X50 mounted on a Savage Axis 6.5 Creedmore?

Asked by: Kimbrell224
I recommend a 1 piece picatinny rail from www.egwguns.com and a set of our high height 1 inch Pro Rings for your setup.

What is the width of the Hunter 1" High rings? I have a Savage Model 110 .270 that I have trouble mounting a Diamondback 4-12x40.

Asked by: Badnewsbears31
The Hunter Rings are 0.71" wide. If you are having trouble getting the scope to fit on your setup, I would go with a 1 piece picatinny rail that would allow you more flexibility in mounting your scope.

I'm running the crossfire ii 4-12x44 on a 17 WSM should I use high rings or can I get away with the medium rings?

Asked by: bundy413
Medium height rings should give you appropriate clearance, though it's hard to know without knowing the exact model of rifle. Feel free to give us a call 800-426-0048 and we can talk it over with you.

I have a Remington 270 Win model 700 ADL with Weaver mounts and received a Diamondback HP 4-16x42 Dead-Hold BDC Reticle scope as a gift. Which Hunter rings do I need for this setup?

Asked by: Rick
I recommend a set of our medium height 1 inch Pro Rings. I do not recommend the Hunter Rings on your setup, the Pro Rings are a better quality setup.
