Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Scope Rings Note: A friendly heads up on the measurement. Vortex medium is like a set of high rings... their high rings is like a set of extra-high rings. I purchased the medium rings and mounted a 44mm adjustable objective Vortex scope on them with 2mm of room left, 4mm without an adjustable objective. These Hunter scope rings are amazing... I don't know how they manufacture them for the retail price of less than dollars. They don't need lapping, at least mine didn't. They are well made and extremely well balanced. They are relatively light weight and easy to mount. They seem to be durable and the fitment was fantastic. Unless I am placing rings on a 50 BMG these will definitely be my to go rings from now on. I found the pluming of the scopes vertical reticle easy to plum... due to the evenly spaced and balanced thumb screws and the single adjustment ring screws. I almost want to remove all my other scope rings and replace them with these Hunter rings... that is how impress I was with them. And when it comes to my reloading, shooting, scope mounting, and target setups I have an incredible OCD habit... so, yes these are a keeper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a light weight setup! I bought these knowing Vortex has great products. I needed some light weight rings for a hunting rifle and these fit the bill perfectly. Light weight, durable, and they are low profile so i can see the turrets while behind the rifle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too fragile Put these on my Ruger predator 260 along with a vortex diamondback hp. My zero changed several times and I traced it back to the rings coming loose. Tried loctite but no help. Torqued down one last time before I was giving up and the bolt snapped that attaches it to the rail. Tried the other bolt just for the heck of it and sure enough it snapped while torquing to 30 inch pounds. Only thing I can think of is the cheap bolt was stretching and finally gave up. I suppose I should have expected this from cheap rings. Not bashing vortex. I love my two razor gen 2 scopes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy Quality Rings I used these rings on my Crossfire II scope that I put on my Browning T-Bolt 17hmr rifle. They are very easy to install and you can count on them holding your scope no matter how much recoil your gun produces. I would just recommend to use the torque specifications that Vortex recommends so that you don't crush your scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value! I used these to mount a Vortex Diamondback a few weeks ago. While not a lot can be said about a scope ring at the entry level, every part was machined nicely, all the screws had a nice feel when being installed, and the end result feels rock solid. The classic look of these really matched the scope as well. My favorite part about them is the fact that they used Torx screws instead of Allen or flat head screws. So much nicer to deal with. Great job Vortex, these do the job nicely!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Scope Needs Good Rings Setup my son's new Savage 93 .22WMR with these rings, lapped and aligned them, then mounted a Vortex Diamondback Rimfire 2-7x35 and boresighted it... At the range it was 2 clicks up and 3 clicks right, bullseye! I will buy another set, and will recommend them to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple! I bought this for a budget build, and they do what they gotta! They hold solid, haven’t had any issues at all! They have been on the rifle for over 4 months now so that’s all you can ask out of 20 dollar rings! Simple, light, solid. Perfect!

I’m a first time rifle owner so I don’t know much of anything about mounting scopes yet. I bought a Savage Axis II 30-06 the other day and I also bought a Diamondback HP 3-12x42mm scope to go with it. I was wondering what rings I should use for it?

Asked by: Connorbu
Thanks for the question! I would recommend going with 1-piece Picatinny rail from www.egwguns.com and a set of our New 1" Pro Rings-Medium for your setup. If you have any questions on mounting, please give us a call at 800-426-0048 ext. 5.

Will the hunter rings work for a Winchester model 70 30x06, I purchased the Crossfire II and if so what size?

Asked by: Wingmaster
We do not recommend the Hunter rings with a centerfire rifle. I recommend our new Pro Rings for your setup. Medium height will work pending on if you have a 30 mm tube or 1 inch tube.

What is the difference between the Hunter rings and the Pro rings? What does the pro have that the hunter rings don't?

Asked by: dantheman
The Pro Rings are better material, and have better machining and tolerances. We don't recommend using the Hunter rings for anything other than a rimfire rifle.

What rings would you suggest for your 4-12x40 on a flat top AR style rifle? It will be used heavily and they need to be tough.

Asked by: Eman23
Thanks for the question! For an AR style rifle, you will want to go with a cantilever style mount. I would need a little more information on your scope to make the proper recommendation though. Give us a call at 800-426-0048 ext. 5 to discuss your setup.

Looking to mount a 32mm objective on an AR, would the medium rings give me enough clearance on a flat top rail?

Asked by: Andrew1
Thanks for the question! I would recommend going with one of our cantilever mounts for your AR. This will get you up to the proper height and push the optic forward enough to look through it comfortably on that platform.
