Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Cantilever Mount Made I have this precision mount on my DPMS LR-308 and I love it. It's a very well machined one piece mount that looks awesome on the gun with all of the Vortex logos machined on the top. This mount will last a lifetime on any firearm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing Mount This mount is by far the best I have found for the AR platform. Same platform as the precision matched rings for your bolt gun. When I got my Gen 1 razor for my .260 Rem I moved the XTRii over to the 6.5 Grendel. This mount is everything id hoped for and more. It looks Awesome too! Thanks vortex for making, in my opinion, one of the best mounts out there for the AR platform rifle. Awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid I have this mount on my Strike Eagle 1-6 on my AR-15. Great piece. Repeatable when taking it on and off to swap to my thermal optic. Wish Vortex would have had the QR version when I got my scope

Asked by: 308snpr

I have a savage 110 long range hunter in 338 lapua , I want to mount my vortex viper PST gen2 5x25x50 with 20moa extra for long range what is ur recommendation for mount ?

Asked by: bullr
Thanks for the question! I would not recommend using a cantilever mount with 20 MOA built into it as it will put you up too high to look through comfortably. Instead, I would go with a 20 MOA 1-piece Picatinny rail from www.egwguns.com and a set of our 30 mm Precision Matched Rings 0.97" inch height for your setup.

Which way does the arrow face on the bottom of a 20 MOA cantilever mount. I want to gain longer distance targets.

Asked by: Scallo101
You will want the mount to have the ring towards the muzzle and the part of the mount that extends out towards the stock.
