Rated 4 out of 5 by from Colors pop! Glass quality is amazing. Easily competes with optics costing twice the price. Very easy to spot game. The color contrast between objects is what will immediately stand out. Also low light gathering capabilities have extending my time glassing. My only complaint is the eye cups seem to move around too much and not stay put. I am constantly having to adjust to make sure they are where I need them. The Viper HD's I own don't have this same issue with the eyecups always moving in or out. Overall they have exceeded my expectations. Exceptional glass quality, brightness, clarity, contrast, and the colors pop!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing quality and unbeatable price! I bought a pair of the Razor 12x50s without ever having looked through a pair. I was nothing short of impressed when I put them to use. Colors pop, images are sharp and clear, they're light and rugged. A very well made binocular that is on the same playing field as European glass for half the price with a better warranty! I've put these to use in New Mexico shed antler hunting, pronghorn hunting, mule deer hunting, elk hunting, oryx (gemsbok) hunting , and have even used them to spot fish in clear streams. These binos have never let me down once and are always up to the task! Can't wait to pair them up with a razor spotting scope for the ultimate combination!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal clarity and color Purchased these binos specifically for big game hunting. The diopter allows you to initially focus each eyepiece individually which makes images even more clear. The amount of detail that these binos pickup at extended distances is amazing. I find that with the 12x magnification, I can seen more detail at distance vs a 15x magnification due to the color clarity and contrast. This advantage becomes even more obvious in low-light conditions when other binos' images start to fade. Well worth the money if you want the best image clarity and definition available without spending twice the amount to get minimal returns. Plus with Vortex's unlimited warranty, hard to beat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only pair of binoculars you will ever need!!! I bought these binoculars for a multitude of reason. 1st for hunting they are fantastic with great glass for spotting pronghorn/mule deer at 700-1500 yards away to low light conditions when most other binoculars won't do. 2nd I use them for target archery when clarity and small details matter. I can easily see the rings on 3D targets at 40+ yards and they help me find an aiming point that I normally could not see with my previous binoculars from another brand. 3rd I use my binoculars almost daily and the VIP Warranty that Vortex has is second to none so I can rest assured that I can USE these binoculars in any condition without having to worry about them and focus on the task at hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Northwest Big Game Love the weight and size of these binos. Have had both the 10x42 and the 12x50 and can say I love both, but these give just a slight edge over for the mag in large open plains and desert. I hunt a lot of mule deer in rolling foothills and pronghorn in the desert and slap these on a tripod and the game has changed. The weight is not difficult to hold steady by hand if needed. Fit great in the hands and adjustments and lock are spot on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome clear glass a working man's optics Honestly for the blue collar working man like myself with 7 kids 1 in college i cant afford the Swarovski or Leica optics but the first time i looked thru vortex optics there glass is just as good as the big name brands keep doing what your doing and not to mention the warranty is the best in the industry now time for me to save a little more hard earned dollars for the Kaibab optics dont change a thing vortex

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Won't need another pair They were awesome in low light chasing elk. My brother has the diamondbacks and was giving me a hard time for spending that much until he looked through them. He could barely tell that there were elk on the hillside through his. Then through mine you could see every detail of the bull with his huge chocolate horns and long white ivory tips after that he was sold as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product at a great price. I have used these so far on my nephews archery elk hunt this month here in Arizona and was very impressed. We stopped to glass a meadow later one afternoon off in the distance and saw elk but i was the only one able to see if it was cows or bulls. For the size they get a little shaky when glassung off hand but i cant emagine how nice they will be off my tripod.

When did you start making your Razor Bino's in China? my first pair were made in Japan, and to my dismay when I received my newer ones I find out they were made in China. What gives.

Asked by: dave 12
All of the new Razor binoculars are manufactured in China, but they are being made by the same manufacturer as when they were made in Japan and to the same quality standards.

i was comparing these razor 12x50 with the viper hd 12x50 and i noticed that they are real similar, except the razor has the APO & plasma tech coating while the viper does not. what do these coats do? that make the razors game changing?

Asked by: az011
The Razor HD binoculars have better coatings and better optics that give them better clarity, resolution, color fidelity, and low light performance.

I am shortsighted (-6.5D on each eye). Could I focus at infinity with these binos without my glasses? As far as I know, Swarovski is the only manufacturer to mention the dioptric correction at infinity, which is a key parameter for shortsighted people.

Asked by: JPMo
Yes, you will be able to focus with these binoculars as the 12x50 will focus 7 diopters beyond infinity.
