I recently purchased the razor red dot and rt45 mount. What torque do you recommend for the mount to the rifle and what torque do you recommend for the red dot to the mount?

Asked by: JimmyDale
Thanks for the question! I would recommend going with 20-25 in/lbs for the mount to the rail and for the screws for the optic to the mount we recommend 10 in/lbs with Loctite or 12 in/lbs if you are not using Loctite.

Will this offset be proper height if I wanted to co-witness back up 45degree iron sights with the Venom on it?

Asked by: valadi14
It would be extremely difficult to co-witness on a 45 and is not recommended.

How much space does this mount take on the upper picatinny rail? How many grooves do I need to mount it?

Asked by: DirtyHarry
This mount base is 25 mm and would cover 3 slots on a rail.

I have read where you said the Viper will not work with this mount. My question now is once I buy a 45° mount  with a picatinany rail on it what will I need to mount the viper onto that?

Asked by: B.B.
The Viper comes with a mount that will work on a picatinny rail.

Will this mount work for your Viper red dot?

Asked by: B.B.
This mount is made to fit our Razor red dot which has a different footprint than the Viper and Venom. If you are looking for a 45 degree mount to use with the Viper this one will work for you: http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/red-dot-mount-45.

Will this mount fit a Sig Sauer Romeo 1?

Asked by: Cody
The Sig optic has a different mounting pattern than the Razor so they are not compatible.
