Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid rings for an AR platform. Use these rings on a Viper PST 6-24x on an AR platform rifle for varmint hunting and some target shooting. Have been solid rings well over 1k rounds through the rifle and have never had to retorque and screws or lost zero. Rifles gets thrown in the back of the jeep when driving field to field and never have had any issues. Can't say the same for my Lxxxxxd rings. Would absolutely buy again although my next set will probably be a precision matched pair. Great rings, thanks Vortex! You have a customer for life!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Rings for the Price! I recently bought a pair of these for my Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor and I am very happy! They give me the perfect height for my scope to maintain that low profile that is desired for precision shooting. I would strongly recommend these to anyone on a budget that wants strong and reliable rings for their scope!

I got the strikefire ll with the cantilever mount, but its to high for a Ruger 22 Takedown with a weaver rail. What ring can I use to lower and fit the weaver rail?

Asked by: SuperShot
To use the Tactical Ring, you will need a picatinny rail. With that you can use the low height Tactical Ring.

Will this low-rise mount co-witness with Magpul MBUS sights? Will this low-rise mount also work with the Vortex 2x magnifier?

Asked by: mBrane
The low rings will not give you a co-witness on an AR, you would want the extra high heights (either absolute or lower 1/3 co-witness height).

I've got a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22. I recently purchased the StrikeFire 2 but i'd like to have another mount besides the cantilever mount if possible. What would you recommend? I'd like something with a low height if possible.

Asked by: Gavin
If you want a non cantilever mount for your rifle, you can use the Tactical Rings in extra high height. Because of the design of the AR, you need a very high mount to comfortably see through your optic, a low mount would be really hard to see through.

What rings would you recommend for use with the Diamondback Tactical mounted on a Picatinny rail?

Asked by: Chris
I recommend our 1 inch Pro Rings, the height will depend on your rifle. If you give us a call at 800-426-0048 ext 5 we can give you the proper recommendation.

Are the Tactical 30mm Riflescope Rings aluminum or steel?

Asked by: Eddie6904
Those rings are aluminum and are not recommended for scopes as they are made for red dots and tactical lights. Should you use them to mount a scope lapping is highly recommended.

Would this be the mount to use to put a Strikefire I on a Remington 870 so I could co-witness the front bead sight?

Asked by: dodg1988
The front bead on your shotgun is going to be too low to co-witness with. This ring would work on the Strikefires for a shotgun as long as you have a rail.
