Tactical Extra-High Ring for StrikeFire Red Dot — Absolute Co-Witness

This StrikeFire extra-high ring mounts on Picatinny rails—positioning the center of the StrikeFire red dot scope tube at a height of 1.46 inches (37mm) from the base for absolute co-witness on AR15 platforms.

Note
If you have a carry handle version of the AR15, you will usually need the low ring for the StrikeFire red dot. You will also require a carry handle mounting rail. Sold one ring per package.

Are these ok to use for my Browning 30-06? I don't know much as I'm fairly new to all this. My gun Smith recommended them but I'm a little nervous as they say "tactical"

I just bought strikefire 2 for my AR15. I dont run any backups sights and want to ditch the cantilever mount for something lower and more sleek. What height ring would you recommend? As I said, I dont have backup sights so I dont need to co-witness.

Asked by: Adam87
We can definitely swap that out for a tactical ring. I recommend the TRXHAC ring. Please give our customer care a call at 800-426-0048 Ext. 6 to swap your mount out for a ring.

Should I use blue loctite on the threads?

Asked by: Ryan
No, do not use Loctite on your ring screws as it acts as a lubricant and can cause you to overtighten the screws.
