It's pretty simple: To attend a shooting course at Vortex Edge^®, you must not be prohibited by law from possessing firearms or receiving firearms training. Otherwise, we welcome shooters of all skill levels.

No. Vortex Edge^® does not conduct background checks on students. It is the student's responsibility to ensure they comply with all federal, state, and local laws. Vortex Edge^® will cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations if it is determined a student illegally obtained firearms training.

Yes. You can now add friends and family members to your account and sign them up to take a class with you.

Yes, you need to pay up front. Class tuition must be paid in full to reserve your spot.

We offer a full refund if you cancel 1 week prior to your class.

Yes! If you see a class is sold out when registering, you can select “Add to Waitlist”. If a spot opens, you will receive an email. Our waitlist functions first come, first served, so be sure to check your email often.

We conduct classes rain or shine, so dress appropriately. However, we will postpone shooting for unsafe conditions (lightning, severe weather, etc.). If Vortex Edge^® cancels or reschedules a class, we will offer students a refund.

The minimum age for shooters may vary depending on the course. Generally speaking, students must be 14 or older to attend firearms training, and all minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Classes vary in price. Please see course description for the specific course you are interested in taking.

Meals are provided at no additional cost for full-day classes. There will not be a meal provided for half-day classes.

No. We love the shooting sports and all things firearms training, but at this time, the Vortex Edge^® range is not available for open, public shooting.
