Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bang for the Buck! I purchased this scope about a month ago for my Ruger 10/22 rifle. I originally did not want to spend over $100 for a scope on that setup, but I have been so happy with all my other Vortex products that I figured I would break the budget a little and go for it... I'm so glad I did! For the money, I don't think this scope can be beat. The Dead Hold BDC reticle is just great. I mounted the scope with Vortex rings and they are working out great as well. Sighting the scope in was a breeze. A handful of shots, and a few minor adjustments put it dead on at 50yds. Overall, I love the look and the quality of this scope. Well worth every cent. For being one of Vortex's lower end scopes, it sure does not disappoint at all. Really clear glass (as usual from Vortex)!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scope that works perfectly atop my 30-30. I own several vortex products and this is the least expensive out of all of them, yet it sees the most real world use atop my 30-30 hunting rifle. Absolutely love the quality of my crossfire even more so given the price point. I chose this because I needed something FAST and cost effective and have had luck with other Vortext optics in the past. This unit has FAR exceeded my expectations for a scope in this price range with quality equivalent to other manufacturers scopes at 4x the cost. I highly recommend not only this specific unit, but most other Vortex products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Scope This is the third Vortex scope I've bought. I had the scope mounted and bore sighted and took it to the range to sight it in. I was incredibly frustrated when I could not hit the target at 50 yards. THEN I discovered it was low by about 4 inched and wide by over a foot - so much for the bore sighting. But once I found where it was hitting in just a few round i was placing bullets in the bulls eye within an inch at 100 yards. I haven't tried longer distances - yet! Great scope, clear, and easy adjustments. Recommend Vortex to anyone who wants a great scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top quality for a great price I bought this scope to put on my 1894 Swedish Mauser Carbine for deer season last year, not only does it look great on my rifle but it blows the competition out of the water in the similar price bracket. It is crystal clear and with that VIP warranty I will never have to buy another scope for that rifle ever again. All my future optic purchases will Vortex for sure. The only thing i can think of that isn't even a real big concern is the cross-hairs are a little thick for my personal taste but it isn't any kind of hindrance at all on the vision through the optic. Great scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CrossfireII 2-7x32 I have this scope on my ar, for deer hunting thick pines in North Louisiana. Sighted in quick and easy. It was the first gun my girlfriend ever shot, and she was shooting centers instantly. Great equipment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear view everytime! I bought this for my Ruger 10/22 with the BDC, and I was finally able to take it small game hunting, and by far this scope was purely awesome! The clarity of the cross-hair was great in all lighting conditions with minimal sunlight peering through throughout the day. Some might say it's overkill for a .22lr rifle but I think this is the perfect setup with a 50 yard zero.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely an excellent piece of glass! I bought this directly from Vortex. I had a few questions and Travis answered all of them very promptly! After mounting the CF2 to my Ruger American Ranch 450 Bushmaster using Warne Maxima rings, I zeroed at 100 meters in about 5 minutes. At max zoom (7) I could see the POI for each shot and adjust accordingly. The turrets are very accurate which makes adjustments fewer with no loss of ammunition due to guess work. The glass is super clear and transfers light beautifully! Especially for a 32mm end bell! Great scope Vortex! And thank you Travis for assisting me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely clear and bright I bought this for my .22 however during shotgun season in December I put it on my 20 guage.. other scopes I’ve used on it have made it difficult to acquire a deer through the woods however the clarity of this scope and the amount of light it lets in led to me taking the biggest buck of my life just 15 minutes after shooting light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crossfire II I use this scope on my 30-30 for deer hunting. Its the perfect optic for that application. I use the burris QD mount so if im in deep woods, the scope comes of quick. And when I hit the more open areas, the scope is right back on the rifle. The glass is great. The scope takes a beating and has kept its zero. Cant go wrong with Vortex!!! I have 2 Vortex optics and I will be getting more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Scope I traded for a M&P 15-22 with a Vortex Reddot but I wanted a precision scope rather than a battle throw lots of lead scope. Vortex traded it out for what I really wanted! With the almost a foot of eye relief I trained myself to shoot with both eyes open. I'm able to knock down 18 steel targets in 90 seconds with 22 shots is my personal best so far. Best warranty in the world is offered by Vortex. I also own 2 6-18x44 Crossfire II scopes mounted on Ruger Precision Rimfires. Best shooting that I've ever done in my life is with Vortex Scopes!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sorry evening in low light performance I purchased the crossfire rifle scope and am nothing but disappointed. Poor performance in low light most of your shots on game will be at dawn or dusk this scope glares so bad you can't see anything. I contacted vortex they said it was the way my eye was positioned behind the scope . I own everything from Simmons ,Leopold , Burris,Nikon and Bushnell a variation from high dollar to cheap and all are better than this junk. I am a avid shooter and hunter I am 51 years old not my first rodeo i feel insulted at his reply. I will never purchase another vortex product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best $120 Scope Money Can Buy I bought this scope for my Precision AR and love this scope. It holds zero and tracks accurately. I love this scope more than most of the $300 to $600 options. 1. for the price. 2. it has the 32mm clear objective with long eye relief. 3. finger adjustable moa turrets and moa reticle. The only thing that would make this scope better would be target turrets and zero stop capabilities. But then it wouldn't be a $120 scope but if they could add those capabilities and keep the scope in the $200 to $300 range it would be a best seller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crystal Clear! I bought the Crossfire II 2-7x32 with the BDC reticle to put on my new Mossberg MVP LC in 5.56 nato.I couldn't believe how crystal clear the optics are. I especially like the longer eye relief and the larger than most ocular lens. After sighting in, the accuracy, the resettable turrets, and the crystal clear optics sold me on using only Vortex scopes on all of my other rifles in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value for the money - by a long shot I wanted a scope for a .243 varmint rifle. Knowing that I would not be looking to make shots further out than 300 yards, I felt the Crossfire II with 2-7 magnification would give me exactly what I was looking for. Very crisp image on full magnification on targets at 300 yards and the 32mm objective was ample - even in low light conditions. The turrets were crisp and the clicks distinct when sighting in. One of the features that I really enjoyed was being able to move the height indicator to 0 once zeroed in so I could adjust height for different ranges and always know exactly where I needed to dial back to. I didn't want to spend a huge amount because I am not an avid varmint hunter but the Crossfire gave me way more scope than I had anticipated for the price point. And like every Vortex item, the warranty is the best out there - by a long shot! Another impressive piece (and I know it sounds strange) was the owners manual. Very clear instructions on how to zero, and how to use the reticles for different ranges - I am not a novice but I still found it very useful! Whether you are a novice or veteran shooter - this is a great scope for close to moderate ranges and like I said - easily best value for the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Scope I purchased this scope for my 300blk on an AR platform for hunting. I was a little hesitant as I usually go with the 3x9 but the lower profile worked out better. Sighting in was super easy and the eye relief is amazing. The clarity of this optic along with the VIP warranty.... this is a no brainer. Drop the gold ring cult and give this a chance. You won’t be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a must have scope! I was hunting this season with the Vortex Crossfire II on my Ruger American 7mm-08. the branch my gun was on snapped, fell 20 foot to the ground. I thought I was screwed for the day, however I got back up in my stand, hoped it was okay to shoot something. 10 minutes later a buck came by. I dropped him at 175 yards! Vortex makes great optics, and are a must have!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality I came across this scope a few years back and never got around to writing a review. I was at my local gun shop after just finishing a new AR build. The owner offered this optic to me at a fantastic price since Vortex was still fairly new to the market and I was hesitant. I paired it with a Primary Arms 1" rail mount and did a 50yd sight in that afternoon. The glass was clear and I was very happy with it. That rifle and optic went on to be my 3-gun rifle for the next 2 years with about 10,000 rounds of being thrown around and abused. Not once did it ever lose zero and we routinely shoot from 5 yards to 650 yards, we also throw the rifles into dump barrels without much regard to being gentle. Vortex also sponsors several major 3-Gun competitions around the country and I cannot thank them enough for that. I still have this optic in the safe but have changed over to something new, you guessed it, another Vortex. This time a 1x6-24.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best scope for the money period! I needed a good affordable scope for a .22 build. I have other Vortex glass but looked around to see what was out there. Ended up with a crossfire 2-7x32 after looking through all the other “budget” scopes out in retail land. It’s clear, super accurate (shot a dime at 100 yards) and is perfect for the back yard target/vermin rifle I built.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not sure there is a better budget rifle scope!! I bought this to mount on an AR rifle and fell in love with it. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be up to par with the more expensive Vortex optics that I've used but you def get more than you pay for with this scope. Very clear, super light weight, has never lost zero... Loved it so much that I bought the rimfire model for my 22mag

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely the best bang for your buck Three of the best features this scope has is that it is very durable, quick easy set up for sighting in, and the clarity of the glass. It was dropped on concrete do to faulty sling, left a scratch no dent was worried it was broke, but when i went to the range it was still on zero. One fault about this scope if its below -10 it fogs up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice scope I bought a used 17 HMR and it had this scope on it. I got the rifle home and quickly figured out why the purchaser sold the rifle. The scope rail on the rifle was loose. Tightened up the scope rail, reinstalled the scope and rifle is very accurate. Nice inexpensive scope, but works well on this rifle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this scope!! I purchased this scope at my loca Dicks sporting goods. It was recommended for my CZ 527m carbine. The reticle is very crisp and clear. Easy to adjust as well. I absolutely love it and see many more vortex scopes in my future. I also heard that the company is veteran owned, which I love!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product, amazing quality. I have this mounted on a Savage MKII FVSR with a Boyds stock. The scope is perfect for small game and targets. The clear sight picture you get with great eye relief is phenomenal. I would recommend this to any hunter or target shooter again and again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wicked clear and accurate Bought this for a 10/22 Ruger takedown in the target model. Sighted in with a laser boresighter and... -Three rounds actually got it right . Next seven.... pretty much right through the same hole. -Next 10: pretty much all DC with rounds punching holes through previous rounds. Took it out to 100 yards: using basic MOA math was right on target for the next 10 rounds. For the record not really concerned about 100 yards with this gun. Been playing with it but really focused on 50 yards and under. And for those that say that they have problems with this scope in low light conditions.... I respectfully agree to disagree. Quality of glass and really thin crosshair wires makes it a champ. It's not NV nor IR but is still stupidly effective well into the evening. You want one of those or illuminated reticle then get it. This ain't. Bottom line: -Simple reticle -Accurate as all get out provided you have it on the right platform. -Clear as f*^k. Some of the clearest glass I've ever seen. -Accurate eye relief Erik

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic scope for the money Put this scope on my ruger 10/22 and I really love it. It was easy to sight in and the low magnification option is perfect for a 22 lr. Would definitely recommend to anyone on a budget looking for a good scope.
