If you're looking for a great pair of binos, these are them!
When looking for my very first pair of binoculars everyone told me to buy the best glass that I could afford. These diamondbacks are cheap in price compared to other binoculars vortex offers but honestly I don't see how you could improve them. They are sturdy, feel great in the hands and most importantly are crystal clear. I used them in low light situations and I had no problems. I use them to glass big open country and saw my deer a little under a mile away with about 45 minutes of light left. I was able to close the distance and able to kill my first buck. Needless to say I will be a vortex customer for life. I 10/10 recommend these binoculars.

New version is TRULY an improvement
I had just bought the Diamondback 10/42 just a couple weeks ago.. I then learned that Vortex had just come out with the new version.... so I decided to take a look at them when they came out.. First off: there is a noticeable difference, and in my opinion, worth a couple extra bucks to make sure that you get the new version. I opted to also switch from a 10/42 to a 10/50 as well, since I really like the light and range of field on the larger lens. Vortex, thanks for making such a great product, and offering such a great warranty. The only thing that could make it better, would be if it were made in the USA.

I LOVE ALL VORTEX PRODUCTS
I had an old pair of bushnell bunks going into my late season archey hunt during thanksgiving and I couldn't see any details about the deer I saw let alone if they were bucks or not. So I decided I needed some high quality binos and I looked no further then Vortex. I received them just in time for the second part of my hunt and they worked flawlessly. I used my Vortex spotting scope to find the deer then used the binos as I got closer to see how many and the size of the deer I was looking at. With the help of these new Diamondbacks I was able to see the 4x5 I wanted and make a stalk. Without the help of them I wouldn't have been able to find the deer I wanted.
