Just what I needed
I bought a pair of 10X28 Diamondback binoculars because I wanted something that would fit in the console of my truck yet reach out there and tell me what's going on across the field. These bino's do that job very well and if I want to take them hunting, they take up less space and are light enough to carry either around my neck or in my pack. Love em', they're great.

Great glass.
I bought these for my wife due to the light weight and smaller size. They have excellent glass and are very clear in all light of day. The harness ring on the side broke off from the binoculars the first time she got to take them out and use them. I know Vortex will warranty them without question but now we have to send them in when we need them the most. Price and quality of the glass in this optic almost makes it worth it.

Not my favorite
I bought these 10x28 binos for hunting a little more than a year ago. I tend to pack in so I wanted something not too heavy but still decent quality. I enjoy the size, quality is lacking though. First, the eye cups are constantly falling off. Twice now they have come off in the brush and I've been stuck with unusable optics. Vortex did send me new ones each time but that didn't help me during season. I have also struggled with getting them focused. I'll scan a clear cut and think things are good, but at 500 yrds or more horns are hard to get focused on. These are also not great performers in low light. Last issue is that the eye relief is too small. If I put the eye ups around my eyes to seal out light and make them steadier to hold, there are large black spots. In order to get a full picture I have to hold the eye piece just below my eyebrow, only touching on the top edge. Makes the binos hard to steady and let's lots of light in. I'm always needing to use my hat to block the sun from blinding out the picture. I am a fan of Vortex and their warranty, but these Diamondbacks aren't all they are cracked up to be. I've seen lots of good reviews for these but I can't agree. Vortex is awesome, Diamondback 10x28 binoculars are not up to snuff.
