With the compact 8x28 Diamondback, small size doesn't mean small performance! Like its namesake, the Diamondback rattlesnake, this pocket roof prism binocular packs a lot of wallop into a slender package. Featuring fully multi-coated optics, phase correction coatings, argon gas purging, and a unique checkered rubber armoring, the compact Diamondback doesn't trade performance for small size.

Very clear
I've really come to respect vortex and their products. These Diamondbacks are very crystal clear. They are great for brush spotting and closer range spotting and will out perform more powerful binoculars of lesser brands with their clarity. No fog or weird colors just clear view. Someday I hope to upgrade to a more powerful vortex binocular.

Great view, lightweight
I bought a pair for my 6 yr old daughter for out birding excursions...good clarity and wide field of view. Much better than her previous brand. Warranty is unconditional so good pair to start her out with.

Great compact affordable binocular
I purchased the Diamondback 8X28 binoculars three years ago for a crystal clear, light weight optic for archery hunting, turkey hunting, and scouting. They are my "go everywhere" opitcs.
