Quality Compact Binocular
First off I am a big fan of vortex glass. I think for the money they are a tremendous value. There are brands that do produce a better quality glass but their prices are in the thousands instead of the hundreds. In addition, Vortex has an incredible warranty. Having the ability to replace a broken pair of binoculars brings a lot of security to your outdoor pursuits. This pair is a great option for a small compact packable binocular. I have been using these for backpacking and they have been perfect for that use. You can still get a good look at wildlife but without all the extra weight. Great buy. Highly recommend.

Remarkably Clear
I bought these for my 3 year old to use. I have a pair of competitor’s binoculars that retail at four times the price of these and after comparing the two side by side the clarity in glass is virtually indistinguishable. These are remarkably well made and due to the size and clarity are going to be my new hiking binoculars, if I can get them from my kid.

Great for the beginner birder or someone who wants to shave weight and observe wildlife
I bought these so I could take bird watching and wildlife observing with me on trail runs and hikes. I didn't want something heavy or bulky that would we me down and these fit the bill perfectly. They're small, light, and offer a great view. I have not tried these in low-light conditions but I could see that as being an issue given the size of the bins.
