Rated 5 out of 5 by from All I can say is WOW!!!! I bought these binoculars to get into the lrf game while minimizing the amount of equipment I need to haul around for target shooting, hunting and birding. The binocular optics themselves are excellent with the added bonus of an excellent laser rangefinding unit at a reasonable price point. While I do not need to range out to the specs of this unit, I feel confident knowing that the laser and detector are both powerful and sensitive enough for use at extended ranges, which further enhances by confidence at my personal ethical hunting range. Great product and I look forward to buying more vortex products in the future with the stellar customer service and warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal light gathering ability I purchased Fury HD 5000 binos when working in Colorado this summer. The ranging feature is far more than I will ever need, they seemed brighter in the store than the non HD version. The price difference was negligible. I enjoyed them in Colorado watching deer, antelope, elk and bear during the day. Tip of the iceberg. This weekend, opening of deer gun season, they absolutely excelled in low light conditions. In that time just before legal shooting hours, I could not see with my unaided eyes. Remarkably, I could scan the forest edge out to 400 yds. crystal clear. Thanks, if your rifle scopes are that bright, i need to start saving up. Retired Houston Texas Firefighter

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential kit for long range The worst part of hunting with these is trying to keep them from getting borrowed while hunting. The glass is better than any binos I have used and the range finder EASILY ranges non reflective surfaces well past 1000 yards. I have gotten returns on dear over 2000 yards away. When looking at animals in brush 6 to 700 yards away it was very difficult to find them with a standard rangefinder and get a steady accurate reading.... The Fury HD5000 fixed that problem and is a dream at the range to confirm target distance for range verification. The only thing I would like is a mil or moa scale to spot shots with in the reticle. Other than that these are perfect.
