AWESOME & Customer Service is the BEST EVER.
I have the Viper 10x42, originals. For me this was a huge upgrade and I just love them. Being able to see in the early hours is the best ever. I have horses, so sometimes bad things happen and the twist up eye pieces were damaged. I sent them in to have them repaired. Vortex not only repaired those, but fixed the scratches on the objective lens and re-argon gassed them for me and included new lens covers. I have never had customer service and quality care like what Vortex provides. I intend to always use Vortex just because of their great warranty. Just ordered a Razor Spotting scope, quality glass and the warranty and service can't be beat!

Put these through the ringer
I bought these about 6 or 7 years ago. Vortex was new on the scene in my area and I was comparing them to all the regular names. At the time the price and the quality was impossible for me to ignore. I have since used them as a hunting guide and biologist for between 150-200 plus days a year. I had to have the eye cups fixed twice, but given the amount of use, I can live with that. Vortex always got them back to me quickly and took into account the schedules of my hunts and work when planning to repair them. I have recommended these binos to two friends who both bought them and also love them. Honestly I am very happy and will be buying another pair of vortex binos in a higher magnification for future hunts.

Great Service; Vipers NOT worth the price
I don't think these binoculars are quite worth the price tag- but the customer service and lifetime warranty makes up for some of that. Brought these on an elk trip- rained on day 1. Water somehow got inside the lens, which left the lens with condensation internally for the duration of the trip. Made the elk hunting extremely tough and very frustrating. Luckily Vortex replaced the binos at no cost. Decent binos, great glass... but the diamondbacks are cheaper and nearly as good in my opinion. Vipers shouldn't have ANY issues when they are ~$700 msrp. I love Vortex's services, but this incident will make it hard to have faith and trust in their products.
