Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid, tough scope! I really dig this scope. I purchased this soon after its release. First and foremost the glass is clean, crystal clear and the top reason you buy this scope. The mrad reticle is precise and doesn't feel busy. The reticle illumination works exceptionally well and really like the off setting between each of setting . The build quality is solid and the finish was spotless. The elevation and windage turret are fine-tunable, robust, positive and the adjustment firmness is just about right. However this scope is on the heavier side. The eye relief is a lil closer than I'd like and the power ring rotation is tight although it has loosened with use. the elevation and windage turret screws should be checked regularly as they loosen with use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE my Vortex! I have had my scope for a couple years and transferred it from my 300BO to my RPR .308. I got a chance to open it up to 600 yards and after only two shots was ringing steel shot after shot. 23 shots in a row! It was too easy! With a holdover of two hash marks(4 MOA) and no adjustment for wind. The scope did develop a problem with a loose illumination knob, I called Vortex, and before I hung up, I already had a prepaid return label. I sent it in on an Saturday and got it back exactly 9 days later, and they replaced the scope with a brand new one! Optical clarity is great, and you can't beat the features of a top end scope at a mid range price. I will be loyal to Vortex for LIFE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High end quality glass for budget conscious I have this mounted on a Rock River 18" .223 SPR. This optic's clarity is much better than other other optics out there which are twice the price. The knob adjustments are crisp and deliberate. They are easy to use and make adjustments for longer range engagements. For this reason, I am a big fan of the turret knobs for ease of adjustment. The illuminated reticle makes this optic ideal for coyote hunting during low visibility here in Iowa. Great optic on one of "my Go To" rifles.
