Abused and still going strong
I'll be the first to admit I do not treat my viper spotting scope nice. I miss placed the cover a month into owning it. It rides in the back seat of my truck and the bed of my side by side Unprotected. I'm on year 3 with this scope and it's still crystal clear at the day I bought it. I use it for every hunting season from September bear to January late season elk hunt only way I'll ever get rid of this is by upgrading to another vortex. Great products

Field review of Viper HD 15-45x65mm Spotting Scope
Overall a good value product for the cost. Works well out to about 600m, even in dense brush. Optics are reasonably clear at higher magnifications. In retrospect I should have purchased a 80mm for better light transmission. Not a Nightforce or Swarovski, but a solid alternative at an economy price.

Spend a little extra
Great product for a great price, but as the saying goes for spotting scopes "spend all you can afford and then spend a little more. I'm happy with the product for the price, but I do wish I would have save a little longer.
