Great fit!!
I am not doing this to try and win a contest. I just recently received my flip caps for my Crossfire ll with V-Brite. I asked Vortex for their advice on the correct size, among many, and they nailed it. Thanks Jimmy! They fit like a snug glove. I LIKE THEM!! The original caps fit fine but when walking through brush, if you left them on, you would be snagging them. Now they're secure. I read a a review that says they were loud when they opened. I don't have that issue. I got a quick response, accurate fit and another great Vortex product.

Average quality, great for the price
These are average quality lens caps. They're nothing special, but they're as good as other competing brands. They fit the scope pretty well, but could be a little tighter. When you first get them, the cap is a little hard to flip open, but it eases up some with regular use. I do like the fact that these flip completely open and don't remain at a 90 or 45 degree angle...they're less likely to snag and detract from your line of sight. I haven't had any issues with mine breaking, but I can certainly see how they could. However, despite a few shortcomings, these are as good as most brands, and for the price you really can't complain too much. I put these on an inexpensive 3-9 optic I have on a Savage .22lr rifle. If you're needing caps for an expensive scope like a Viper, I'd highly recommend you pony up a little more and buy the Defender caps...those things are amazing.

I love the idea
I bought these to go on my diamondback. On a hunt a couple years ago one got ripped off and I ordered a replacement because I do like them quite a bit. I have noticed that over time and after a bit of use they become loose and tend to fall off or twist. They do work well though and definitely adds a little bit of character to your guns.
