Robust yet lightweight
This tripod was definitely intriguing to me. I usually opted for a very small tripod for backcountry hunts but wanted to try this one for it's height. It weighs in at 3 lbs while being tall enough to stand and glass with. The legs adjust easily and can be used to glass while sitting as well. My only downside is that the tensioner for the center pole is made of plastic and is not incredibly durable looking. If that wing-nut style knob goes, the entire tripod becomes compromised. So far I haven't had any issues with it. Incredibly stable, light, yet not incredibly packable. I've had no issues strapping it to the side of my pack.

Great Tripod for Viper spotting scope
I bought this to use with the Viper Spotting scope and it's a perfect match. Key features that I needed is that I'm 6 ft 4 in tall so I needed something with a pretty wide range of height adjustment and this provided it.
In terms of weight I found this one to be middle of the road. I will use this primarily for shooting at the range or short hiking trips. Based on that I couldn't justify spending more to save small amounts of weight. But yes if you are going to be packing this around you might consider going to a slightly lighter version.
I love to the arca-swiss connection for the spotting scope.
Overall for my purposes I love this and can't wait to carve out more time to keep using it.

All around champ
Best tripod on the market for all around use. Light enough to carry for optics, strong enough to mount a rifle and shoot off of .
Pros: Awesome! Very light weight, easy to carry, fun to use. I've used it with a spotting scope, with a rangefinder, and with a rifle. It was great for all uses.
Cons: Could use some hash marks on the legs so you can quickly reference height of the tripod head. It can be difficult to get the tripod perfectly level.
