The long eye relief, locking diopter, and fully multi-coated lenses are just a few of the reasons this riflescope will be a crowd pleasing favorite. Tough construction and bright images are just the icing on the cake. It’s matte black anodized single-piece aircraft-grade aluminum tube is nitrogen-purged and o-ring sealed for waterproof/fogproof/weatherproof performance.
The customized design of this reticle helps eliminate guesswork on hold-over and windage corrections. Good for hunting and shooting at varying ranges where estimating hold-over is a concern.

Great scope for the price, with a few downsides.Product description says it all but be cautious with the glass to air coatings. Overly aggressive cleaning can remove coating. The reticle is tough to get focused for all ranges. That being said I put it on my .450 bushmaster and bought a second for my .350 legend. Great budget scope.

Liked it enough to purchase a second.I bought the Copperhead 3X9X40 and put it on my Mossberg Patriot, and after the hunting season bought a second one and installed on my T/C Compass 308. For the hunting we do here in Michigan's deer season they are perfect.

Worst optic I've ever boughtI paid $139 for this scope and the clarity of the glass was so bad I sent it to Vortex to have it evaluated. They sent it back saying the optics are perfect. It's like looking through frosted glass. I have $40 scopes that are crystal clear compared to this one. I'm not spending another dollar on Vortex products.
