Doesn’t get any better at this price point
I’ve had these binos for a few years now and have put them through the gambit of hunting challenges. They’ve been dropped in the river, mud, and out of my treestand more than once. I’ve had them on my chest while I’ve army crawled through thick brush and fields, sat for hours in the rain and fog, and have had them with me from 80° down to the negatives. I’ve never had a single issue or challenge with them that a quick cleaning couldn’t fix. Dials all still function flawlessly, glass is as clear as the day i bought them, and overall the binos hardly show any signs of wear. You can’t go wrong with vortex and these binos definitely live up to the hype.

Old School to New School
I hadn’t upgraded my nocs in well over 15yrs. They were the old, big bulky Bushell that cost a pretty penny back in the day. I already had my mind set on Vortex when I went to Cabelas.
I pointed at 4 certain ones to get out. I said mix them up and don’t tell me which is which. I spent about 15 min looking through each of them and settled on the Diamondback HD. I could not be happier except I didn’t get the camo version.
My only bad note is the case it comes with. It is made of great material but that material is a little too loud for me when in the woods. I’ll be swapping to the regular Vortex harness.
*I completed this review after using for about 3 weeks of hunting.

So good, there dangerous
Just getting back into hunting the beginning of 19 season. Needed to find a good pair of optics, after some research, I decided to go with vortex and bought these on black Friday. Was blown away from the packaging they came in, accessory’s included through to the physical product themselves....... from there I went and bought the ranger 1300....... and now I’m debating on the vortex red dot for my AR. Just waiting on a window to open up to where my wife won’t notice:) not sure what’s more dangerous, me continuously buying Optics that I don’t necessarily need, but very much gotta have, or the Mrs finding out!
