The VMX-3T Magnifier is not recommended for use with the SPARC AR.
The daylight bright 2 MOA dot is fast and easy to use. Choose among ten variable illumination settings—the lowest two settings are night-vision compatible.

Great for varmint rifleI bought this for sale at Woods n Water after my first choice, the Strikefire, was sold out. My AR is built for quick shots on hogs, coyotes and other undesirable animals. This optic is great for that. It was also accurate enough for 150 yard shots. My only complaint is that the lense caps don't pop open, but have to be locked together. This is more of a inconvenience than an actual problem, so still 5 stars. The "glob" people complain about doesn't take up hardly any of the sight picture and is there for some reason, so it doesn't bother me. It takes AAA batteries, which is great. Great optic

Run this on my work rifleThe original Sparc was my first Vortex product and the Sparc AR was a great upgrade to it. I've been running this optic on my work rifle for years and it has stood up very well. I've been in torrential downpours for hours and never seen any fogging or water inside the optic. It's received a beating in takedowns, entries, and in training and has always held zero. I've seen some reviews about the LED housing blocking the view, but I've never noticed it at all.
The fact that it takes readily available AAA batteries is a deal maker! The price point also makes it hugely attractive to the average buyer. I currently have 3 or 4 on miscellaneous rifles.

HOLY QUICK ACQUISITION BATMANThis thing is insane for going target to target. Nice vivid dot shows in any condition. It takes a AAA battery so its easy to change and convenient no need for silly button batteries or 123a's. It has a rubberized coating that cleans up nice with just a tad of oil. The lens covers snap together to stay up and out of the way but can easily be put back on quickly. I bought this and place it on my Kriss Vector and it is incredible. First outting took about 3 shots to Zero then rest was history. I have already sent close to 400rds down range and it hasn't moved a tad off of Zero.
