Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive I got the Viper HD 12x50's I'm impressed with all the features. They are exceptionally clear, easy to focus and light weight. I was surprised that even being 12x they are easy to hold with no blur. Lens caps are also a nice touch. Got these just in time for my coues whitetail hunt. They worked great. while I didn't bag the big one I still got a decent coues. Id definetly buy these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size, Awesome Product I bought these binoculars around August of last year, so about 8 months ago and i do not regret it one bit. These were supposed to be just complimentary binoculars to my higher end binoculars, and they were to be used or shared with others but have quickly become my primary optic. These have made my hunts and scouting events highly successful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bang-for-your-Buck If you are trying to decide between some Swaro's or Vortex.. go with Vortex. Unless you are literally swimming in cash, just buy the viper HDs. The extra 1500 bucks for Swarovski gets you about a .0001% increase in quality. Swaro fans will brag about field flattening lenses, wide FOV, no pincushion effect, color rendition etc. Vortex does all of these things incredible well. I guarantee you take the average hunter, put him behind vortex HDs and then behind a pair of swaro SLCs and they will have a very hard time seeing the difference. As far as the brightness, I would argue that vortex does a slightly better job (although very minimal). Moral of the story, don't waste your time on swaros unless you have an extra 1500 burning a hole in your pocket and you've bought everything else you've ever wanted in life.
