Love it!I recently purchased it after looking at other brands. I was also looking to upgrade my Bushnell. For sure it was an upgrade. It delivers a faster response time and the glass is incredilble. I am blown away by the clarity even in lowlight scenarios. Every product I have purchased from Vortex has exceeded my expectations. It feels great in the hand and the carrying case is quality too with minimal padding to reduce bulk.

Accuracy IssuesVortex fan through and through. However, I recently purchased the viper rangefinder and ran into some accuracy issues. I was on the range sighting in a rifle and tried ranging a steel target at 290 yards. I kept getting a range of yardages from 290-360 yards. Person with me had the Vortex ranger RF and his read 290 multiple times. Another scenario, ranged a tree in the wide open at 800 yards. The viper read anywhere from 800 to 1100 yards while my buddy used his Leica 2400 and read 800 12 times in a row. The viper can definitely range far out, but when the shot counts, you need consistency and yardage gaps like that wont cut it. Probably going to switch to the Leica or the Razor

Fingers CrossedJust wanted to give Vortex a shout out. Had a few issues with other Vortex range finders requiring retail and warranty replacements. The warranty process was easy and timely. For those of you on the fence about the upgrade, Compared to the diamondback it is more ergonomic for my larger hands and the optical system is a clear upgrade. Operation feels more seamless and quick when scanning, giving it a premium feel over the diamondback. Thanks to Vortex for making my first VIP warranty claim a breeze while making me a grateful customer. Overall a great product and brand!
