How to Create a Custom Turret

Creating a Vortex® Custom Turret requires detailed information about your firearm and ammunition. You'll need to specify your preferred ammunition, the exact muzzle velocity of your rifle, and environmental factors such as temperature and altitude. After submitting this data through the Vortex® Custom Turret Data Form, your new turret is laser-etched and delivered directly to you.

How to Install a Custom Turret

Installing your custom turret is simple and can be completed at home with minimal equipment. All you need is a screwdriver or included turret tool to remove the factory turret and securely attach the new custom turret.

Start by ensuring your riflescope is accurately zeroed. Replace the stock turret by unscrewing it, then align and secure your new custom turret so your zero distance matches the designated hashmark (typically 50, 100, or 200 yards depending on your setup). Once installed, confirm your holdovers to make sure the data matches and your riflescope is accurate at all corresponding distances.
